The power of you story

John 4:29 "Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did"
Jesus spoke to a Samaritan woman at a well. She came to get her physical needs met. She needed water. This woman was not expecting to have a conversation with the savior of the world that day. She had an encounter with God that changed her whole life and the bible tells us that she ran into the village to tell everyone she could that she had met and spoken with Jesus, the Christ!
This woman was an evangelist!!!
She left her water jar behind!!! She was so touched by Jesus that she had only one thing on her mind...to tell everyone about Him. This woman was not concerned about what others thought of her. Her testimony was bold! She wanted to spread the good news as fast and as wide as she could.
John 4:39 "Many believed in Him because of the woman's testimony"
My prayer is that many will believe in Jesus because we believers will be like the woman at the well and fearlessly tell our stories at every opportunity we are given. Your testimony is powerful!
You might think that your story is not dramatic enough?
You do not need a dramatic story to have an effective testimony. Many Christians have grown up in Christian families and have walked with Jesus their whole lives. The presence of God in you is the same presence of God in someone that has struggled with sin and been set free!
Knowing that we walk around as Christ's ambassadors, carrying the hope of the world inside of us is an awesome responsibility and honor.
2 Corinthians 5: 20 "We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us."
God wants to get the good news to people through us! Your story has the power to change someone's life just like the woman at the well. let me encourage you to "GO THE BOLD" and share your story with someone that God is highlighting to you.
This world needs hope....
Jesus is the hope of this world....
Your story is a story of hope!
